Life

Well, mom is on me again for not posting in so long.

Life has brought so many changes to me in the last year and a half. I was married and quickly divorced, probably a family record. I have been over seas and back. That was fun. Bought a new truck, which was stupid. And just buried myself in debt.

I have been able to spend some time with Courtney and have been having more and more fun with her. We have been going on the lake and swimming and fishing in Jeremy's boat. Courtney is always very excited about that. Courtney has really grown attached to Jeremy and I am glad. She does not see him enough, but when she does, she is excited and loves it.

Last weekend I took her to the zoo on Fri and then Splash Country with mom and dad. We had a blast. She rode some slides and mom rode some I would never imagine her on. Some that I did not like and would not ride again. Courtney was so excited that just seeing her face lit my day up and there was nothing to bring me down.

I am also in the process of fighting for more time with her. It is looking good and Christina is being exceptionally nice again for some reason. I guess she must be happy with this guy and I am happy for her. Courtney really seems to like him too and I am glad.

I am very happy also with my personal life. I am seeing some one that I never thought I would be dating. I worked with her, Sonya, several years ago when I was in high school. Our paths crossed again after several years and I am glad. I am happy and I am pretty sure she is too. I mean, how often do you meet some one that calls and says lets go fishing tonight. Call your buddies and have them meet us and I will bring the beer. Hell, she even owns her own pole. She is about as country as they come and family is really important to her. How often do you meet some one that is willing to drive 60 miles on way to see you almost every day? I could go on and on, but we are not going to do that again, yet.

My Army life is going really good too. I am still doing the Tour Guide job with Public Affairs and I am really enjoying it. How many jobs do you only work 30 hours a week and keep the same pay? I love this job. It is easy and it is fun.

I finally started getting out and exploring the area where I live. I go to Wal-Mart and chat some one up in the fishing aisles and learn where to fish and I am learning some great places. Met a guy that has become a great fishing partner.

Of course there is some family drama going on. Extended family, that I wish would go away and end, the drama that is. I told them they are too old to hold grudges like this. When they are gone, there is no taking it back. The past is the past and we need to learn to live for day, and plan for tomorrow. Not worry about tomorrow, plan for it. A lot of you know that there were issues with me and my family years ago, but we resolved it and look at us now. Mom and dad come to see me and I see them all the time. They are actually making a pit stop at my house for the weekend in a couple weeks on their way to Branson for vacation. Then again on the way back. I love it. I plan on taking them to Evansville, IN to the casino. I went with Sonya this past week and had a blast. Penny slots are a lot of fun!!

Life is great! I know that it will stay that way as long as I remain positive. I will not let anything get down like I was in the past. Life is full of changes and challenges. How you get past them and face them makes you how you are. You never let life get the best of you.

I hope that everyone out there is having a great life and you are all happy. I am even excited that Christina is happy with some one.

I apologize that it has been so long since the last post and will work on getting more up.

So many things have changes and have happened that you do not want to read it all, but I will share what I can when I can.

Oh and deer season is coming up soon and I cannot wait. A time for family and a time for fun!!!!
